The herd is spectacular and consists of approximately 140 head of cattle all of which are purebred Ayrshire cattle for which the owner has won master breeder awards. Usually, 65-70 are milking with an average of 4.2% in butterfat content -- consistent excellent production.
The spacious milking barn is an older-style free stall. There is a newer built-on tarp barn on the front which currently houses all the young cattle. On the back, there is a tarp barn that houses the dry cattle.
At the second location, there are two smaller barns that hold the heifers. This is located a short distance from the main farm.
