CCGA Recognized as Manitoba Top Employer for 2022

​​​​​Winnipeg, MB — Canadian Canola Growers Association (CCGA) has been recognized as an exceptional place to work by Manitoba's Top Employers. Earlier today, the winners of the 2022 competition were announced by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and released in a special magazine co-published with the Winnipeg Free Press.

“As an organization working in agriculture, we're thrilled to be recognized with this award," says Rick White, President & CEO at CCGA. “The award highlights our amazing team and the opportunities that agriculture presents for people seeking fulfilling careers in Manitoba. Many of our employees never anticipated a career working in agriculture but really enjoy the industry and the rewarding work."

To achieve recognition through Manitoba's Top Employer, CCGA was assessed on eight criteria including 1) physical workplace, 2) work atmosphere & social, 3) health, financial & family benefits; 4) vacation & time off; 5) employee communications; 6) performance management; 7) training & skills development; and 8) community involvement.

“Our staff have stayed engaged, showing resilience and commitment to serving our customers during a challenging year; they are the reason for this recognition," says Larysa Motruk, Director of Human Resources at CCGA. “In the end, our team, experience, and values are the driving factors that allowed us to successfully achieve this prestigious designation."

2022 is the second time for CCGA to be recognized as one of Manitoba's Top Employers.
