Coming This June: The First Cypress Farm & Ranch ShowFarm Show

Medicine Hat, AB (Dec. 20, 2024) – The Cypress Farm & Ranch Show (CFRS) is proud to announce its inaugural event, set to take place June 12-14, 2025, at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede. Held alongside the World Professional Chuckwagon Association races, CFRS provides a platform for farmers, ranchers, and exhibitors to network, learn, and explore the latest innovations in agriculture.

Seeing an immense amount of potential in bringing an event like this to the Medicine Hat area, Show Founder Dave Fiddler said, “This area has some of Canada’s most productive farms and ranches but has been underserved in terms of major agricultural trade shows. My hope is that this show will give producers and exhibitors an opportunity to connect and collaborate in a thriving marketplace. The farmers and ranchers in this area are investing heavily in innovation, creating the perfect environment for industry growth and success.”

Over 41% of farms in the surrounding area report revenues exceeding $250,000 annually, driven by superior beef production, extensive irrigation systems, and diverse crop and greenhouse operations. Moreover, the city’s accessibility makes it a hub for producers and exhibitors across a wide trading area.

Ron Edwards, General Manager of the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede, shared his enthusiasm, “Medicine Hat has a very large agricultural trading area, and we have not had an agriculturally focused business show of this magnitude here before. We feel it will be a great benefit to surrounding area producers and, of course, there will be benefits to the businesses within the city as well. Having it in conjunction with our Chuckwagon races with be a benefit to both events!”

From keynote presentation to expert-led panels and innovative exhibits, the event aims to be a cornerstone of agricultural business in the region.
