About Me
Born and raised on a dairy farm in the Burnt Lake District west of Red Deer, graduated from Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School. After high school, George attended the University of Calgary majoring in Mathematics. Prior to going into real estate George taught high school mathematics for thirty-two years. From 1972 to 1993 George owned and operated a farm. During this time he had a beef operation of approximately 140 commercial cows. In addition to the commercial cows he developed a Full Blood Maine-Anjou herd of approximately 40 cows. He participated in major livestock shows in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary and Regina winning many prizes with his show cattle. In 1986 the commercial herd were dispersed, however the purebred herd was maintained. In 1993 George sold the farming operation to his youngest son and started a new career in real estate.

- Licensed Real Estate Associate since 1993.
- Licensed Real Estate Broker or Associate Broker since 1996.
- Member of the Red Deer Real Estate Board of Directors for four years.
- President of the Red Deer Real Estate Board for one year.
- Instructor for the Red Deer Real Estate Board orientation program for three years.
- Member of the Red Deer Real Estate Board computer committee for four years.
- Chairman of the Red Deer Real Estate Board computer committee for two years.
- Completed two major revisions of the residential MLS© system for the Red Deer Real Estate Board.
- Member of the Alberta Real Estate Association ad-hoc committee to develop the Rural Real Estate Listing Contract, Rural Real Estate Purchase Contract and Rural Disclosure Forms.
- Developed highly successful Real Estate marketing strategies.A Top Producer at every office he has worked.
