About Me

Rita is a born and raised Hungarian, just like her partner Krisztina, but it took Canada, Oakville and Real Estate to bring them together. Their common drive to work hard an play hard makes them even better together!

Rita was born in Szeekesfeherrar, about an hour outside of Budapest. At the tender age of 6, her musical talents were recognized and she began attending a specialized School of Music where she trained in vocals and the violin. This led to opportunities to travel and compete as a Choir Singer throughout Europe and cemented her focus and passion to do what it takes to succeed.

After completing a Cultural Management program at Janos Naumann University, Kecskemet she jumped at the opportunity to contribute to Hungary’s burgeoning TV and Film industry by doing voiceover and dubbing work on television series, commercials and films. (If you are ever in Hungary and reruns of Columbo or The Naked Gun are streaming, you will hear some of her work!) She also worked with her voice hosting the Telefon Meeting System for Hungarians! (Can you say early Siri?!?!).

By the mid-90’s, she ended up in the sunny Dominican Republic for a year when she worked with Codatel…which led to marriage and Canada and her daughter, Mia. They soon ventured into Oakville real estate, renovating and flipping properties. Although the husband is in the past, she still LOVES sunny beach vacations and dotes on her daughter!

Rita became a licensed Real Estate Agent in 2004 and found her true calling. She still loves renovating homes, but now her focus is on the business of buying and selling! She is a ReMax Platinum Award winner every year for the past 10 years and is a recipient of the Hall of Fame Award. Rita also has her Commercial Real Estate license and is involved in numerous large-scale commercial listings.

Rita continues to embrace new Canadian experiences. She spends a lot of her time at indoor pools cheering on her top-ranked competitive swimmer daughter, Mia. Together they have headed to Blue Mountain multiple times and learned to ski. And year round, the 2 of them love to explore the Lake Ontario beachfront with long bike rides or walks, cell phone camera ready to go…you never know when you might spot an energetic weasel wrestling a fish!
