For Release on Monday, June 19th, 2023, at 10:00am CSTRegina, SK – The 45th edition of Canada’s Farm Show (CFS) Regina, SK presented by Viterra, officially kicks-off today with a first look press event at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building at 3:00pm followed by the President’s Reception starting at 5:30 p.m., and show doors opening tomorrow June 20th, welcoming the future of farming! Manufacturers, producers, exhibitors, and international buyers will all convene at one of the largest and most important agricultural shows in North America.

From June 20th to the 22nd, thousands of visitors from Canada and around the world are expected to visit the CFS at REAL District, which has been transformed to feature over 300 exhibitors spread in all indoor, air-conditioned space.
“The biggest stage in agriculture is open and ready to welcome exhibitors and guests from around the world,” said Tim Reid, President & CEO of REAL. “We are expecting over 20,000 visitors to REAL District over the next three days, with something for everyone to explore and engage with in support of Canadian Agriculture.”
Opening and Collaboration Day presented by Viterra will provide opportunities for producers, decisions makers and influencers to connect, collaborate and advance dryland farming practices around the world. And, in that spirit of collaboration, the show is thrilled to host the Growing Connections Conference, presented by Farm Credit Canada. Taking place June 21, this TED Talk-style gathering will delve into start-ups, social media and brand building, exploring their impact on agri-food business. Notable speakers include Tyler Heppell, influencer and TikTok creator known as ‘Potato Ty’ and Carly Minish, Red Seal Chef, and founder of Smak Dab Mustard.
Day 2 is Innovation and Indigenous People’s Day Presented by Greenwave Innovations, Innovation Saskatchewan and Farms.com. Day 2 features the Global Agtech Summit where we will hear from former Chief of Cowessess First Nation Cadmus Delorme, as he discusses the future of Indigenous agriculture including the opportunities and challenges facing Indigenous peoples in the industry. Summit reinforces CFS’s goal to ensure innovation remains a strong and driving force behind our economy.
The third and final day is Education and Young Farmer’s Day Presented by FCC. Students get in free with valid ID for the Launch Your Career in Ag event presented by Agriculture Manufacturers of Canada, which includes a career fair with hundreds of hiring companies. Plus, former NHL goaltender Corey Hirsch takes the Launch Pad stage at 12:30 p.m. to share his mental health journey and becoming a wellness advocate.
For attendees visiting the show grounds starting tomorrow, the schedule is jam packed with engaging presentations, product launches, panel discussions and keynote speakers. From the next generation of harvesting technology with Honey Bee Manufacturing Ltd., to an important conversation about mental health with Do More Ag, the forefront of farming technology is on display.
