Episode 19: Candace Hill - Leadership & Long Runs

Back

On this episode of Impact Farming, we sit down with Candace Hill to discuss Leadership and Long Runs and how this is very similar to farming.

Everything we do in life involves leadership. In this episode, Candace shares her three key principles to living your best life:

  • You get out what you put in
  • Mind over matter
  • Just be

These key principles are so relevant to farmers. Farmers are busy individuals with many many tasks and potential stressors on their mind at any given time. Candace walks us through the principles and how they can be applied to the farming lifestyle.

As farmers, we are familiar with roadblocks and obstacles and Candace shares a quote by Gabby Bernstein "Obstacles are detours in the right direction."
She feels that this quote is a constant reminder that we need to trust that we are on the right path and there are always opportunities to develop and grow from the various obstacles that we face in life.
